ProBaltic Consulting prepared investment projects and other necessary documentation for public finance, health care, cultural and other institutions under the public building energy efficiency support program. These projects aim to improve energy efficiency in public buildings.

Investment projects were prepared, while following methodology for investment project preparation developed by the Central Project Management Agency. The components of social (economic) benefits were assessed according to the cost-benefit analysis methodology. Investment projects also carried out analysis of the current situation, legal environment, and possible alternatives. Optimal alternatives were chosen according to the financial and social (economic) benefit criteria assessment.

The implementation of these projects will improve the microclimate of public buildings. All modernized buildings will attain at least C energy class and an improved energy efficiency thereby contributing to environmental sustainability. Due to the lower energy consumption, the environmental emissions of greenhouse gases and other air polluting emissions will be significantly reduced.
